Big Day of Giving coming!
The Big Day of Giving is an annual event to raise money for nonprofits in the Sacramento area, and is from now until May 7th 2026! As a small, non-profit dog rescue, run entirely by volunteers, the Big Day of Giving is an important time of year, as donations mean we can continue to help more doggies.
As many of our dogs are senior, injured or neglected, your donations help to pay for costly veterinary bills such as spays and neuters, blood tests, dental work and more. These procedures are so important to help us rehabilitate dogs and continue to get them into loving homes.

- This year we are raising money to help us rescue more seniors. These older dogs are often overlooked and typically have higher medical bills. This can put people off adopting, but at Little Paws Doggie Rescue, we believe seniors have so much to give and no senior should be left behind.
