Our Currently Available Dogs
Hello, I'm Wilbur!
Wilbur is a little Chihuahua who is sweet and outgoing, loves people and loves even more to cuddle. He’s fine with other dogs, but prefers to be with people. He’s fine in cars and enjoys looking out the window, from a booster seat. He barks at the mailman and occasionally growls at the TV when there’s a dog on it, but otherwise he’s pretty quiet. He really loves soft toys and loves taking the stuffing out. He enjoys going for walks and sunbathing. His activity level is pretty low.He came from the front street shelter where someone dropped him off. He definitely was someone’s house pet and does not seem like he was abused at all. They had failed to neuter him, he was very underweight, his nails were very long, but otherwise he seemed fine.Wilbur is about 7 years old, 7 pounds, neutered, just had a dental cleaning, microchipped, heartworm negative, vaccinated, house trained and crate trained. His adoption fee is $400 and if you’re interested or have any questions please go to littlepawsdoggierescue.org.

Our Adoption Process
- Fill out an adoption questionaire completely. Tell us as much as possible about yourself, your current pets and your previous pets.
- Little Paws will contact you by email if your application is accepted.
- If it seems like it would be a possible match you will receive a phone call.
- If it still seems like it might be a good match, we schedule a time for you, your current dog, if applicable, the foster dog and the Little Paws foster parent to meet. There may be more than one family meeting the same dog.
- If Little Paws, the foster dog and the applicant agree that it's a good match, a home check may be performed.
- Adoption fees will be collected.
- Then we complete the adoption!
The typical adoption fees range from $400 to $800 depending on the age and health of the dog/pup.
We do not ship dogs for any reason.
We are ALL VOLUNTEERS, so not all applications will be answered. You will be contacted if you may be a good match for a particular doggie.
Thank you for understanding.
