Giving Tuesday is a worldwide event of giving and an annual day of generosity, and this year it is on December 2nd.
Falling after Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Giving Tuesday is a time to give back to organizations that make a difference.
At Little Paws Doggie Rescue, we run solely off donations, so each dollar donated helps us reach our goal of $5,000. This year, we are specifically raising money for an emergency fund. As many of our dogs are seniors or have complex medical needs, we come across situations which need an immediate medical decision to be made. Many of these happen out of hours, and the costs for 24 hour medical care is higher than it ever has been. If we have a ready-to-go emergency fund, this means that we can make snap decisions to give our dogs the best care, without having to worry.
